trial & error

Das Kulturlabor Trial&Error e.V. ist ein Netzwerk von aktiven Do-it-Yourself Freaks, Craftivsts, Grafikern, Upcyclern, Aktivisten, Journalisten, Denkern, Machern, Philosophen, Künstlern und Street Artists, welches soziale und kulturelle Projekte realisiert. Im Mai 2010 wurde der Verein Kulturlabor Trial&Error e.V. gegründet. Wir arbeiten mit kreativem Aktivismus, Nachhaltigkeit und der Entwicklung sozialer Netzwerke unter der Anwendung der Prinzipien „Upcyling” und „Do-It-Yourself”, sowie Open Source Culture und nicht-formaler Bildung.
Wir realisieren lokale und internationale Projekte die durch praktische Workshops, Festivals, Ausstellungen, Aktionen im öffentlichen Raum sowie Strassentheater und Flashmobs, Wissen vermitteln.

Zwischen Mauern, Asphalt und Alltagseffizienz kein Land in Sicht? Die Liederatin kÄt wird von der Land- zur Stadtstreicherin und malt mit bunten Tönen Geschichten und Gitarrenmelodien an graue Wände – gegen Systemzwänge und für das Leben!

POLLY & BOB

Wir glauben, dass Gutes passiert, wo Gleichgesinnte in der Nachbarschaft zusammenkommen. Wir öffnen den Weg zu den verborgenen Schätzen in der Nachbarschaft. Wir träumen von einer Welt in der soziales Wohlergehen nicht über die Anzahl meiner Facebook Freunde definiert wird, sondern daran, wieviele Leute mich beim Vornamen grüßen, wenn ich die Straße runter gehe. Wir verändern das Zusammenleben in der Nachbarschaft, indem wir Nachbarn helfen, die etwas verädern wollen. Wir formieren Lokalgruppen und bieten Gelegenheiten sowie Werkzeuge die eine Verknüpfung mit der Nachbarschaft vereinfachen. Wir bilden eine globale Gemeinschaft derjenigen, die etwas in ihrer Nachbarschaft verändern wollen. Wir sind ein non-profit Sozialunternehmen. Wir finanzieren uns über Mitgliedsbeiträge von 2€ im Monat, wovon 1€ in der lokalen Nachbarschaft verbliebt und 1€ an die Zentrale geht, die die Lokalgruppen unterstützt, miteinander vernetzt und eine online Plattform zur Offline Vernetzung zur Verfügung stellt.
In einer Welt, die immer flexibler, kurzlebiger, vereinzelter und fluktuierender wird, schaffen wir einen stabilen Ort an den man gehöhren kann. Diesen Ort nennen wir Neue Nachbarschaft.

Polly & Bob verhält sich zu P.E.A.C.E.S. in vielfältiger Weise.
P für Personal: Polly & Bob hilft einen Ort zu schaffen, zu dem ich mich persönlich zugehörig fühle. Wir beantworten die Frage, wie will ich in einer Welt leben, die von wirtschaftlichen Belangen dominiert wird und in der zukünftig alle Lebensbereiche digitalisiert sein werden.
E für Ecological: Polly & Bob unterstützt die Macher und WeltverändererInnen, ihre Porjekt in der Nachbarschaft zu realisieren und mit anderen Nachbarn zu verbinden.
A für Aesthetic: wir machen die unzähligen Möglichkeiten in der Nachbarschaft sichtbar und erreichbar.
C for Cultural: Kultur ist nicht was eine Person besitzt. Kultur ist etwas, dass durch das Zusammenleben und Zusammenhandeln der vielen unterschiedlichen Menschen entsteht. Unser Ziel ist es ein neues Miteinander in den Nachbarschaften dieser Welt zu etablieren.
E for Economic: unser Ziel ist es, den besthenden Reichtum besser zu teilen. Vertrauen und Zugang in der Nachbarschaft können dabei einen entscheidenden Beitrag leisten. Wir organisieren regelmäßige Tauschveranstaltungen, TauschGlück  gennant, und Hinterhofflohmärkte. Dies ist unser Beitrag, um eine Wirtschaft zu etablieren, die den Menschen unterstützt und nicht umgekehrt.
S for Social: je mehr wir als “wir” interagieren, desto mehr entsteht der Geist der Gemeinschaft. Polly & Bob bietet viele Gelegenheiten und setzt sich für die Erhaltung öffentlicher Räume und deren Nutzung für Gemeinschaft fördernde Veranstaltungen ein, um den Geist der Gemeinschaft zu revitalisieren.

PsihoArt Lab presents: REconnect – Workshop

Dealing with our feelings, need for intimacy and connection, personal and spiritual development – is something which is often neglected in consumerism oriented, fast pace world. In the machinery of rules, political agendas, competitions and greed, humaneness has been lost. We live fragmented lives – disconnected from our feelings, from our true self; disconnected from others; from the nature, from the Mother Earth, from the Universe… In order to bring balance back, we should reconnect with all these aspects.

Workshop REconnect is rather a small presentation of the broader project PsihoArt Lab. PsihoArt Lab is a space for personal development through the expressive arts leading to a better contact with our true selves and meaningful connections with others. In this sense, PsihoArt Lab is linked particularly with Personal and Social dimension of the P.E.A.C.E.S. framework of sustainable development. What can you expect in the workshop? Firstly, we will create our intimate space where we all feel safe to explore, express and share. I will prepare interesting exercises and you only need to come with open hearts and minds! Trial&Error is Berlin based collective of artists, cultural workers, craftivists, doers and activists. They have shared interests in DIY culture and craft, non-formal education, open design, reuse of waste and open source culture. They are looking for ecologically and socially sustainable ways to live in the city and to activate local people to participate. The area they are working in Neukölln has amount of social and economical problems due to unemployment, immigration and poverty. Trial&Error is one possibility for locals to take part in neighborhood activities and strengthen community in sustainable way.

POLLY & BOB

At Polly & Bob we believe good things happen where neighbors come together. We unlock the wealth of values that are hidden behind the doors around us. We dream of a world where social wellbeing is not defined by the amount of facebook friends that you have but by the number of neighbors that greet you when you walk down the street. We disrupt the way we live together in the neighborhood by empowering neighbors to act and connect. We are a network of neighborhood networks. We form local boards and provide occasions and tools to connect easily in the neighborhood. We build a global community of doers and makers, that want to change something in their neighborhood. We are a non-profit social company. We finance through Memberships of 2€ per month, of which 1€ stays in the local neighborhood of the member and 1€ finances global community building and platform development. In a world that is ever more flexible, fluctuant, solitary and unstable we create a place to belong to. A place we call New Neighborhood.

Polly & Bob relates to the idea of P.E.A.C.E.S. in various ways.
P for Personal: Polly & Bob helps to create a place I personally want to belong to, answering the question how I do want to live in a world that is dominated by economical reaoning and going to be more and more digitalized.
E for Ecological: Polly & Bob empowers the does and changers to realize their projects and connects all the good ideas with the people from the hood.
A for Aesthetic: we reveal the opportunities in the neighborhood and make the treasures around you tangible.
C for Cultural: cultural is not what a person posesses, it’s something that is build by the many different poeple, acting together. Our aim is to build a new culture of Miteinander in the hood.
E for Economic: we particularly foster and organize sharing events, our approach is to share our wealth in order to save resources and taking off a little of the preasure in order to free time spent offline with others. We support all ideas that seek to make the economy serve humanity and not vice versa.
S for Social: the more we interact with each other, the more the community spirit grows. Polly & Bob offers tools and plenty of occasions to connect and interact in the neighborhood.
